The Longberry is named after the actual shape of the berry, which was initially associated with Aceh. However, Wahana Estate, one of the most progressive Indonesian coffee farms in Indonesia, introduced this experimental variety to their offerings to much acclaim and success. The longberry is thought to have originated in Ethiopian Harrar Longberry, a natural mutation of Typica. It has notes of floral and spice, an unusual combination for Indonesian Coffee.
Beautiful Floral bouquet is evident throughout and serves to elevate the entire drinking experience from beginning to end. This coffee also has a creamy, heavy body with hints of earth, pepper, dark chocolate, cedarwood and green grapes for a Low but slightly juicy acidity. As you continue to sip this coffee from hot to cool, it’s sweetness like dark molasses shows with tones of dried mango becoming evident. The finish is deliciously long, smooth and balanced.

Wahana Graha Makmur translates to “Vessels for Great Success” and the estate’s mission has two prongs. Wahan focuses not only to produce their own high quality coffee, but also to improve the quality of life for their workers and also to coffee farmers throughout the region. The estate is spread over 250 hectares of fertile land and grows over a dozen coffee varieties that produce some of the most distinct varietals.
